Use files in the studio
Use the studio media library when you want to bring prepared assets into a live broadcast without switching tools. Files can be uploaded ahead of time or added during the session, then shared on stream when you need them.
Before you start
Open the studio for the broadcast where you want to use the file.
Use files that are ready for attendees to see. Rename files clearly before the session if several presenters will be working from the same library.
For broadcast-specific material, mark the upload as private to that broadcast so it stays separate from your wider workspace library.
Add a file to the stream
Open the sharing or media controls in the studio.
Choose the media library or file option.
Select an existing file, or upload a new one from your computer.
If you are uploading a new file, choose whether it should be private to this broadcast and place it in a folder if needed.
When the file preview is ready, choose Add to Stream to show it in the broadcast canvas.
Remove the file from the stream when you are finished, just like any other shared source.
File types that work best
PDFs, slides, and documents are useful for structured walkthroughs and handouts.
Images are useful for product screenshots, diagrams, speaker headshots, or sponsor graphics.
Videos and audio can be used when you want to play prepared media during the broadcast.
Large files may take longer to prepare in the studio, so upload them before going live when possible.
Good habits
Test important files before the broadcast starts.
Keep filenames short and recognizable so hosts can find the right asset quickly.
Use folders for recurring event formats, client sessions, or campaigns.
Avoid uploading private or draft assets unless they are intended for the live broadcast team.
